I am an Australian PR holder (Indian Passport) and am in India currently. My Indian passport is to expire in 10 days. Can I return to Australia before that?

The 6 months validity rule doesn't appear to apply for Australia.

Anyone with first-hand experience with this?

I have no idea about the same but just thought of another problem you may encounter

Will you be buying a one way or a return ticket ?

You should also check if the airlines will issue a ticket or not with such a short validity passport as they are also quite strict now a days
