Hi,

I am awaiting my nomination from NSW for SS (Expected in a month). I need to know answers to these questions regarding spouse education before nomination / invitation is sent to me.

1. My Wife has passed BA (14 years) from a college but does not have a degree as yet and it takes around 2 to 4 months to get degree. Does Visa 190 has any specific requirement for spouse education ? like minimum graduate with degree as evidence ? Or I can use her high-school (12th grade) or Matriculation (10th Grade) certificates without any risk of rejection of application on ground of not meeting education criteria ?

2. Does any same education requirement exist if I want to go alone and later file a partner visa for my wife ?

I know I might have to take IELTS in either case ? or can that be avoided as well somehow?

There is no education criteria for secondary applicants. They simply need to either pass IELTS or show they have studied at a higher level in English.
