Medical question

Hi guys,

Wonder if anyone would be able to help me.

I am about to hand in my application for visa - 175 skilled and am a little worried about my medical exam. I just discovered that my family has a history of Hepititas A on my dad's side.

Would they reject my application if I tested positive for Hepititas A?

Hi there,

Welcome to the forum.

Even if you were to be tested positive for Hepititas that wouldn't in itself stop you from getting a visa. It will depend on the panel doctors decision.

Have a look at what the DIAC's definition is: Australian Immigration Fact Sheet 22. The Health Requirement

I would suggest you contact a migration agent and ask their opinion.

Dolly
Thanks Dolly. Took a look at the link, very useful.
