Hi everyone

I know a lot of people live/stay in Dubai via the visa run route and was hoping someone could tell me how you manage for health/medical insurance if you do this?

Do you get extended holiday insurance from your home country (where you are still technically resident) or can you get local cover with out a visa?

Just to clarify I don't mean insurance for the run itself, I mean health cover for your overall stay in Dubai - say 6 months.

Only if your doing visa runs you obviously don't have medical cover through work so hoping someone can explain best/cheapest ways to get cover with out employment or a visa.
