I'm a US citizen and 60, interested in living 6 months if the year in Australia (Tasmania). Obtaining residency appears out of the question. What is the maximum stay? I'd like to do this for several years.
I understand from some study, that a one time tourist visa for 6 mos can be obtained, but this does not speak to repeated visits over several years.
