Hello there!

First post here :)

We're retired artists from Iceland moving to Spain next week after visiting this spring, we couldn't think of a better place to live.

Now our problem is that we had an apartment secured for us, but lost it because the landlord decided to rent within the family. We only just found out and we have flights booked next Tuesday (26th of may). So we need to find something quick.

So I wanted to see if there is anyone that knows where the best place is to find long term rentals in or Near Alicante city? We need somewhere centrally located to shops and restaurants as we will not have a car for the first months.

Thank you for all the help! :fingerscrossed:
Kindly,
Eydis

Have you checked out the idealista and fotocasa websites yet?

They are normally a good starting point and if you look from Alicante city up to El Campello there is a tram line is quite good along the coast but realistically most of the area is well located for shopping and eating out.

Or enalquiler web site.

However, I would probably use airbnb or even just a hotel for a couple of nights and then walk around looking at 'for rent' signs. You can't beat doing it in person.
