Not a strict limit as such (3 months, 6 months etc), but in order to qualify for ILR, there must be clear evidence that UK is her home and any absences abroad are incidental to it. So holidays, business trips or visiting families are ok, but if you are to relocate to UAE, they can interpret as no longer fulfilling the conditions for ILR. If she is to spend more than a year abroad combined, that can tip the scale against her, but a shorter period may still give rise to doubt.Hi All,
Quick question. Is there a time limit on how long you can spend outside UK on a spouse visa?.
Basically I have been offered a nice job in UAE but I am worried that it will affect my wife's chances of getting ILR after 2 years.
