Dear Expat,

Can someone confirm if life scientist occupation is there in the new occupation list.

Its is one of the 12 occupations that has been added

Hello Anamica,

Thanks for the reply. Yes I can see that occupation is listed out there.

Although does it mean that only employer can submit VISA in those occupations on your behalf and I can not go with 189 and 190 VISA.

Employer Nominated Scheme (subclass 186) – Direct Entry Stream
Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457)

For 189 or 190 Life Science Technician is available here: https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2017L00850

But,
Life scientist (General) 234511 MLTSSL VETASSESS
Life scientists (nec) 234599 MLTSSL VETASSESS

are only available for 186 and 457 as you said
