I did brief search on Linkedin and results were quite surprising. I am a Full Stack developer with experience in Financial Services.

I made a search on Linkedin using all my skills as keyword on 3 different regions. Here it is:



Also consider the national density and total population while looking at the above figures.

Australia - 3.3/Km2 (Highest IT Concentration in Melbourne - 453/km2)
Canada - 3.4/Km2 (Highest IT concentration in Ontario - 15/km2)
India - 368/Km2 (highest IT concentration in Bengaluru or NCR - 25000/Km2)


What are your views on current job market in Australia?

That is good find and very interesting. Never looked at the market from density perspective. This gives a good idea on the prospects as well. However, The numbers would depict the supply side of the job market and not the demand side. It is only imperative to correlate with the numbers and guess what kind of competition w you would be facing.
