Just wondered if anyone was going to this..... Armani Prive Hotel, Dubai, UAE | DJ Jazzy Jeff

...and has anyone been to this place for a gig before? Is it as pretentious as it sounds?

I've been told it's not as pretentious as you'd expect, especially on weekdays. Saturday night is hip/hop & rnb night and supposed to be quite relaxed for example.

I was planning to go actually but not sure yet. Maybe tomorrow I will confirm.
Yes I've been there before a lot on weekends not sure how weekdays are lookalike, anyways I suggest you to book a table otherwise you won't be able to move your feet even.

Still umming and a ahhing over it, but will prob have to give it a miss as it's on a wednesday and i've got sandance at the weekend - have already spent too much this month too, and i'm going on holiday next month..... that said, a lot of my friends have said he's awesome live, i like his stuff and i'm missing my hip-hop gigs, so i could still end up going LOL

Personally I prefer people formally crystal over Armani prive. More spacious, better crowd big time!
