Only found three positions in all NZ. even if I do get the PR it seems hard to find a job in universities.

Now I'm no expert, especially in the lecturing/teaching field which I assume is why you are looking at jobs in universities, but reading between the lines in this forum it appears these types of jobs are difficult to find and difficult to get into.
It's more who you know, not what you know !

See that's the odd thing.. Aren't jobs on the shortage list mean that they need qualified ppl to fill them? You're right so far I have only found three possible positions that I applied for, my chances are slim to none without a PR.
