Hello,

does anybody know where to get certified copies and certified translations of documents in Italy? Could you share your experience?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi Aris,

you can get certified copies in the "Australian fashion" at the Australian Embassy in Rome. It is a paid service and you can send them the documents via signed-for shipment: they will send it back to you in the same way.

Regarding certified translations, I am still searching for a viable solution. I am almost sure that a sworn translation made by an Italian translator and then certified at the Italian Court ("Procura della Repubblica") would not be accepted in Australia.

I hope this helps
Good Luck!

Tommaso
