Partially. I took my 4 month old to a clinic for her shots, I paid the $130 up front, then was reimbursed $75 a few days later.
When you've gone for vaccination probably you'd not have registered with medicare by then and refund was transacted when you have got registered with medicare and centrelink...isn't it?

Thanks

I believe private health cover is mandatory on a 457, as temporary residents are not entitled to Medicare. With private health cover, Dr.s fees must be paid up front and your insurance company will reimburse you after you've submitted a claim. How they calculate what they repay is a mystery to me, however.
