[Apotheosis]

My girlfriend and I are both pursuing job transfers that would bring us to Sydney. I'm wondering if the following is possible. Can we both get our own visas but also both be spouses (de facto) on each others? This way, if one of us are to lose our job (for whatever reason) we could still stay on the other's 457.

Also, are the strict with these types of visas? I'm under the impression that they are expedited since they are business-sponsored. Is there a quota?

We are planning to go to Oz in January 2010.
