I am applying for australian work visa from UK. When I visited the British Council website for booking my IELTS test, I found this option and selected it. However, I just wanted to confirm if this is the right one for me :confused2:

no it's not, this is for UK visas only

One of my friends said the exam is the same, just the UK one is more expensive. You need to ask the British Council and confirm it is OK.

No one other than the UK accepts it, even scoring matrix is different.

Could you please let me know which site to use for booking an exam from London? I used the British Council site.

I have raised a query with them and waiting for a response, however don't want to waste more time as I can book the correct one and get a date in advance.

Please help.
