Hello Everyone,

Thank you for taking time to read this and helping me resolve my issue.

So the issue is, I have been invited for the 489 (Skilled Regional Provisional Visa) sponsored by a Relative. My invitation is expiring soon and on the other side I am expecting an invitation for 189 Skilled Independent Visa in the next invitation round.

My question is

1) Can I extend my Invitation time to submit my Documents and Visa fees?
2) Is it possible to get a refund for the fees paid for 489 visa, if I opt for 189 visa once I am invited?

Looking forward to hear some positive outcome from all.

Thank you

1. An extension is not possible. Your invitation will expire after 60 days; after which you will have to wait to be invited again.

2. These fees are non-refundable if you change your intentions after lodgement.
