I have retired and am looking at traveling internationally. Are there insurance companies that will cover me for medical insurance, anywhere in the world, or do I have to take out different medical coverage for each country. I am looking for companies with a good rate and proven good track record.

There is a difference between travel insurance and expat insurance - at least in the health insurance area. Either kind will require you to state your country of residence - usually in the expectation that you would have regular residence coverage there and so you could be returned to your country of residence in the event of an accident or illness that required long-term care.
Cheers,
Bev
