Anyways the license is valid for 3 months from your date of arrival . So you need to get a Aus license incase ur on a permanent visa.

Our regular licenses are also in english which also holds good for those 3 months.

I would like to share the experience of an LMV/LTV Licence holder from India/Pakistan the response s/he has received from RTA Australia upon presentation of that particular DL for transfer purpose.
