Apparently the funcionarios in Andalucia have opted to take a cut in pay to avoid redundancies. Since this is unlikely to cure the problem in the long term and redundancies will be inevitable, on what rate of pay will their redundancy be based? The proper rate or the reduced rate?

Presumably that which is now established in law? But doesn't that new law have a kind of sliding scale so that long-serving employees get a better rate?
