Yesterday I received my self assessment tax form from the U.K. Inside was a leaflet stating that if I could answer no to all the questions, I should phone the number stated on the website. This I did, a very nice Scouse bloke asked me a few questions and told me that I need no longer fill in the self assessment form.

Yes, I got one of those too.... unfortunately, I still have to answer 'yes' to some of the questions, so a tortuous session getting figures together looms
