Hello guys,
I am interested to apply for Queensland SS. I am an IT Professional(.NET Specialist). I am meeting their requirements for SS Application. I want to know the following:

a: What funds evidence should i provide with my application(is it necessary though have the checklist for fund evidence in application form)

b: what about their current processing time

c: How about job/living prospectus in Queensland for .NET professionals.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks..

Thank you for your comment anj :)
I have everything ready except the funds evidence for now. I have been told by some guys that I need to write a STATEMENT where I mention the research I did for the state and also declare that I will be responsible to support myself. Is it what they are asking for in funds evidence?

Update.

Thanks...

umair they basically want to see how much u have researched the place.

search the forum for comittment statement, i remember writing what all we mentioned pointwise. i am sorry but i cant paste it from my statement right now, my system has gone for repair and i am using our PC which doesnt hv the documents.

we wrote about population and other statistics, about areas, about good things in canberra which suit us, why we want to move, so on and forth. basically u hv to write an essay on the state.

as for funds, they want to make sure u have sufficient for 6 months so that u manage without a job if u r not able to get one. most states it is 20k main applicant, but i think WA or queensland it is 25. check the respective sites. its all there

So what kind of fund evidence I should give to them? and is it must? Will it be any harm If I dont include any funds evidence provided I have all other docs along with Commitment Statement.

ACT is very particular about funds, I think victoria isnt. not sure about queensland. for funds proof u can give a bank statement for three months, or if your father has that kind of money in teh bank, u can give his a/c statement and an affidavit from his side stating he will take care of u incase u r not able to manage on your own. proof of bonds etc (if any). they do not consider jewelry and property as transferable asset.
