Hi all,

The income level for Skills exemption is 180,001 AUD and above as stated at immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-workers/pesp-exemptions.htm. Just add www before the url.

My question is, can this figure include the Employer's contribution towards super? What else can be counted towards the 180,001 limit?

Thank you. What is the employer's minimum contribution towards super?

9% but on a wage that meets the threshold it would be at least double that, quite probably more.

What is your occupation?

Highly unlikely you would get that wage as an ICT manager. Its aimed at top acclaimed and published academics, consultant surgeons and executive directors of multinational companies.

Have you looked at what the skills assessment entails?

Hi Shel,

Super rate has been increased to 9.25% from mid-year 2013 and is expected to reach 12% by 2019.

1 July 2013 - 0.25%
1 July 2014 - 0.25%

July 2015 - July 2019 - 0.5%
