I have a question that need a decent answer. I have my brother in Brisbane as a PR and can he Sponsor me under 489 Visa subclass ? i have checked in the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Border Protection web site it says to be eligible "In Queensland: anywhere except the greater Brisbane area and Gold Coast"

Im not clear about this statement please can you clarify me his Post code is Queensland 4101

Brisbane is not a designated area

Do not mix Designated Areas (required for 489 FS) with Regional Areas (required for 489 SS)

For instance, Melbourne and Perth are designated areas, but not regional areas.
