What's the deal? We can import furniture, right? What are the restrictions on wood?

No, you can not import untreated wood, ie if its shop bought painted or vanished you are ok.
You can not take wooden objects, ornaments etc that have been bought from certain countries. Same with wicker and any untreated wood.
