Hi
Can anyone advise, if I have a mortgaged property do I still need to arrange for a visit from the local council to issue a home inspection report for immigration purposes?
Or would the land registry docs and mortgage statements suffice?

Many thanks

If you own the property and it is only you and your immediate family that will be living there you don't need a property inspection and just your mortgage statement, council tax bill and land registry will suffice. If anyone other than your immediate family will be living there, you should have a property inspection.
