I went for a walk to my local beach, the weather was amazing today with so many people taking advantage of a day of walk to enjoy the sun sea & sky.

Thought I would share them with you.

The fountain at Mission Bay is a favourite of children even though there are signs to the effect of no paddling etc but signs are there to be enjoyed.

Mission Bay is visited by most visitors to Auckland being a mere 7km bus ride from the city it is an ideal spot catering for family groups.

The fountain is named The Trevor Moss Davis Memorial Fountain & the story about it's origins can be read here

This story was published after the fountain was closed for repairs, although local residents feared the repairs would not be carried out but fortunately they were.

Thank you for sharing those beautiful pics Anski.
Is it normal weather for April? or was it particularly warm that day?
We are actually having a better autumn than summer. The days are lovely & sunny around 20c but the nights drop down to about 8c.

Today i enjoyed a lovely prawn feast at the Fish Markets sitting outside in the sun sipping a wonderful NZ Sauvignon Blanc Ahhhhh! it does not get much better than this.
