Im moving back to the uk and I have collected pictures, vases (junk as my hubby calls it lol) as well as more clothes, shoes, bags e.t.c. when we came out we brought 4 suitcases and had 6 boxes sent through fed-ex which cost a fortune and I have been looking at sea freight and it seems that the minimum size container is 20ft which is far to much for us. we was considering taking all our furniture back but its just not worth the costs as we got them at good prices out here so we will just sell them nearer the time. any reccomendations on what companies offer a smaller packaging by sea freight and also any reccommendations on the best way the sell our furniture i.e websites

many thanks

Hi Faye, I've just returned to England and my company organised my shipping. I had the option of a 20ft container but didn't want to ship furniture so took boxes by air freight to the same value. The company they used was Alpha Relocations and they were great - brilliant packers, good communication and no hassle. At the UK end the boxes were delivered and unpacked by their agents Stephen Morris Shipping and they took away all the packaging. The service was fantastic both ends and I'd highly recommend them.
