I have just found that i might be able to apply earlier than i thought.

I entered the UK on 07/12/2012 on a Fiance Visa and switched to Spouse Visa 5 Years route.

Got my first FLR (M) 02/04/2013 and my second one on 19/09/2015 which will expire on 19/03/2018.

I was planning to apply 28 days before expiry date, but i think i am wrong and should apply 28 days before the 5 year anniversary of the date of entrance (07/12/2012).

Is that correct?

No. Period spent under fiancé(e) visa doesn't count:

(2) In calculating periods of leave for the purposes of sub-paragraph (1) above, any period of leave to enter or limited leave to remain as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner will be excluded.
