I'm currently awaiting the results of my ACS skill assessment and learned about the MODL points being revoked recently. Since losing those points knocked me down below 120, I need another way to get points. The most obvious one seems to be to take the IELTS exam.

My question is whether it's disallowed for a US Citizen to take the IELTS exam and gain the extra points? The website seems to indicate it might be ok but I just want to double check. It seems silly to take it, but if that's the only way to make up the points then so be it!

Thanks,
roya

Hi Roya

Yes you can take IELTS for those extra points, other option is to go for state sponsorship which is a longer route (it takes 2-3 months for ss to be approved)
