what ielts test needed for 176 visa general or academic and what will any of there changes mean to me as i have western australia regional and applying for a 176 visa i am a boilermaker i already have my tra just need to send my visa application in

u take general module, the academic is for teachers and those in related fields. no one can comment on time frame after the new list, DIAC has not said anything for those with ss but not on CSL. i think it should take about 8-10 months but i can be wrong.

apply for the visa fast and wait.

Hi,
Does anyone know whether a scottish nurse has to do the general or academic test? Although I have to say that I think this is complete NONSENSE that born, bred and educated with a nursing degree and you have to pay approx £100 to prove you can speak English! Seems to me that this may be a money making exercise. Although I have to say maybe the UK should follow this role!!!
