HI..my wife and i are going on a working visa..i've already sent my applications off to the embassy in london but theres a hold up with my wife's..shes waiting on her police cert...i am qualified on one of the skilled jobs as i work as a plumber..i have been told theres only 461 jobs left for the IEC visa...what happens if i get mine and my wife doesnt,will there be a big hold up or is there another way

She can go as a tourist (6 months?), but not be allowed to work.

If the quota runs out she will be unable to apply in 2012
