Hi,

My wife's a Computer Science Engineer and we want to know which subjects would fall under ICT to understand if it will be ICT major or ICT minor application.

Also, do we need total 25% subjects to be ICT, or 25% is required in every semester?

Can someone please share their inputs?

I'll rephrase - is the fact that one has Btech in Computer Science good enough so that ACS deducts only 2 years of work experience?

Yes. In general ACS assesses BTech in Computer Science as ICT Major with 2 years deduction(for qualification closely related to occupation).

Regarding ICT Major - ACS Criteria is as follows from their website.

A Bachelor degree must have:
• 33% ICT content for a 3 year course
• 25% ICT content for a 4 year course
• 20% ICT content for a 5 year course

The ICT content must progress through all years of the program with the final year being at an advanced level.

"The ICT content must progress through all years of the program with the final year being at an advanced level."

Is this a mandatory requirement?

What I mentioned was from the ACS guidelines.

In general any B Tech course progresses like that to final year. Dont worry much abt that. I think Whatever the ICT content you mentioned below will be suffice for ICT Major.
