I would like to ask you guys if there is a way to prove what benefit that my wife receive from the government ?
is there a letter issued by the benefit department ? or all we need just my wife write what benefits she receive ? I am quite confused about this.

State pension...sick pay... disability.....??????????????

I think you mentioned your wife is in council housing? She may need to get a letter from the council agreeing that you can live in the house with her.

She would have received letters stating which benefits, how much, how long and where and how its paid. So she will have all the information!

The border agencies can easily check these with the Benefits agency, you will just have to fill in the forms as honestly as you can with the figures you have. Your wife should have some reference to benefits received if she has a bank account, as most benefits these days are paid that way. If she was paid by cheque then that is also easy, as she will know exactly what she gets, from where, and wherever she cash's it, be it the bank or post office will have a record as well.

Thank you guys for all the help I really appreciate that very much , Thank you Jojo for the information , my wife still keep letters that she receive from those departments , also thank you fergie for your information, my wife showed me a copy of bank statement and it shows what benefit it receive , we just saying the truth in the application and we are doing our best to avoid any mistake , of course with the great help I have from you guys in this forum I feel I am doing well .
