Hi all

I have a quick question and hope I have knocked the right door.

At present, I am in Australia and want to file for PR. As part of this process, I need to submit PCC from India. May I know how can I get PCC? Do I need to visit India for that purpose?

Thanks

You will need to apply via the consultate of the City which is closed to you. And the application goes through VHS,
I do not know the timeline and you need to refer to the thread posted above. Go to the following link and you can apply for a PCC online.

The PCC obtained is valid for a year. When the visa grant happens, the first validation needs to be made within the time that the PCC is valid. So its wise to do your PCC after your CO asks. But then again, heard stories of PCC taking months so be wise.

great... in that case I will chose later option :)
