Can you elaborate further? do you mean your boss messing up your future when one gets a job verification call or refusing to give u a letter ? or u mean something else

Yes I am asking the same, but not with my reference but in general. My boss is good and i have no problem, but what if some finds himself in this awkward situation.

unfortunately this is something a lot of people from sub-continent faces...i guess u cant do much about it, although u can take legal action as it's ur right to get a reference/experience letter whenever u wish so...but u rather wont go down that road and completely mess up ur relationship with ur boss...i think the better way to coup up with such situation is to take ur boss in confidence and may b that cud help...
