Any online tool would be perfect! Its just so confusing to find a place in a city that you dont really know the safe areas, the nice neighborhoods. I've been taking a look on a couple of cities i'm thinking about moving and would appreciate the help!

Are there tools like that for people who would like to move to Brazil?
I think it's almost impossible, as it will depend on your needs (condo? house? how many bedrooms? quiet or vibrant? close to school? public transportation? close to the job? ...)
and your wants.
And above all, certainly in the more popular areas: it will all depend on the budget you have.

What kind of visa do you have, and when do you expect to arrive?
(you are currently living in Montreal? Where are you going to, and why?)

Finding a Good Neighbourhood

Hello!

I live in Montreal. Your best bet is to talk to a real-estate agent and the local police department. From the police, you can find out what areas are less active in terms of crime.
