I have heard from a London human rights lawyer that the appeal is due to be heard between 3rd and 5th March 2014, with judgment to come some time after.
This may be of interest to those whose applications have been put on hold.

Judgment is often delivered some weeks after the appeal hearing, and depending on outcome, it will be a while (a few months?) before Home Office decide on their next move, if any, either to change the threshold or appeal to the Supreme Court. So the end isn't in sight yet.

Yes. Lawyers are saying that this can take years to resolve.

Far out, that is a long time!

Well lets just hope that when it comes to people applying, they don't have it in the back of their mind and think all will work out if they don't yet meet the financial requirement.

Why they would do that, I couldn't say, but people do have some crazy thoughts

Has anyone heard anything regarding this?

Nearly 3 months since the case was heard. I'm sure the judges promised to deliver their verdict in weeks as opposed to months.

Makes not much difference, it still has rounds of appeals to get through before any change will take effect.
