Help! Permanent residency and University costs

Hi, I am starting to study at the Private University of JMC in June, because they are private they do not have Common Wealth Supported place. Per Semester they will cost me about $7000.

Does anyone know of anything I can apply for? Any scholarships or ways to get sufficient money for my course? Any way the government can help or a student loan? I am not eligible for FEE help, as I am not a citizen.

I have only been a Permanent Resident for a few months, but I've been in OZ for 2 years.

I want to study, but at this rate I wont be able to afford it at all... =/

From what you have told me you have little option but to pay.

Just be happy that you don't have the pay international fees which are about 3 times more.
True, I am just hoping there is some way. They also work with three semesters per year, so thats $21 000 per year! Excluding all my books, ect. =/
TAFE is a good affordable option.

7000$ per semester? That's huge. By the way, what course are you in? Is it a tech course?
Yes, $7000! And they have 3 semesters per year! $21 000 per year!

It is a Bachelor of Music. =)
