Hi Guys,

I received my skills assessment result yesterday, I am so happy that i received a positive result but this result confused me a lot.

I am working as software test engineer so i my application come under VISA Subclass 190

I am working as software test engineer since March 2006. My experience is almost 9 years but my ACS say that they will count my experience from March 2009. This mean i clearly loss 5 Points

Anybody have idea why they do that

Now my point is 50 Till date for age, qualification & experience

So i need 7 Band in ILETS to get 10 point. In any case i haven't get 10 points i can't get visa because even after state nomination 5 point my total point will be 55

Please help. What are my chance to get visa. One more question does my wife also need to clear ILETS for VISA under 190

Please help ASAP

TIA

[JEET] - Read the attached document for understanding this (Skills-Assessment-Guidelines-for-Applicants.pdf).

[JEET] - There are zero chances until you secure at-least 55 points on your own (without SS points).

But looking at your case, I would suggest you to clear your English Language Test (7 in each of the four test components) and then you would gain 60 points.

Thereby your chances of getting SS nomination increases in respect to Points.).

**Regarding English Language Test

ONLY IF you are claiming "Points for Partner Skill Qualifications".

ELSE you might have to arrange a Letter from College / University (see attached SAMPLE) as proof of Functional English.

Please help ASAP
