It wrote on the employment letter as below:

"His basic annual salary is £21000 per annum.Prior to this his basic annual salary was £23100 per annum which reflects the 1% pay increase as of April 1sth 2017"

But I checked his payslip, he got increased pay on May, April as same as before.

April £1000 per annum shown on the payslip
May £23100 per annum shown on the payslip

Company explain: it increases April new tax year but shows up in may it is usual in the UK.

so is it ok it shown like that on the employment letter?

THANK YOU

Thanks for quick response, I will apply online tomorrow.

But "Company explain: it increases April new tax year but shows up in may it is usual in the UK." this sentences or same words which they didn't mentioned it on the letter, just told my husband.

so the HO will understand it?or we need to mention the explanation on the employer letter ?

Thank you
