Does anyone know who regulates insurance companies in Cyprus, kind of like the FSA in the UK. I have a problem with an insurance company (Olympic Insurance) paying on a claim that the claims committee ruled that they were responsible for.

It isn't a huge amount so hardly worth pursuing through the courts but neither do I want the reckless clown that hit my parked car with his motorbike to get away without paying for it after having to wait for 8 months.

Any advice from anyone that has expertise would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked you policy? There is a section in mine that deals with complaints. Other than that there is an ombudswoman and I'm sure you'll get relevant help from the Citizen's Advice Centre.
