Hi all,

My friend wanted to apply for Australian PR. But his spouse is having Type 2 diabetic. Can anyone confirm whether Diabetic is a reason for rejection?

Thanks in advance!!!

diabetes is not a reason for PR rejection if it is under control limits by use of medicines

I am in a similar situation

Landlord Male (Primary applicant) & his wife (dependant) applicants are both diabetics. They got PR like 2.5 years ago.

I am unable to ask more but they take humalog injections two times a day.

G'day Sultan,

Hope you are doing well.

My partner has Type 2 Diabetes and is in control, just wondering if we will have any issues\visa refusal on medical conditions.

Cheers,
Sailaja.
Unless it requires dialysis or organ transplantation, well-controlled diabetes won't be a red flag.
