I came across a guide called 'Le guide de l’entrée et du séjour des étrangers en France' ( http://www.gisti.org/spip.php?article5697 ) which is an excellent source of information for legal procedures which an outside has to go through.

I would like to know whether there is a similar guide in English as my understanding of French is not very accurate.
