Hardly surprising, the costs to cover 1 guy earning (say) AED100,000 a month is substantially less than the costs involved in handling 10 clients on (say) 10,000 a month.

Banks are there to make profit for their shareholders, not a service for their customers!

I love my status accounts with hsbc.
Also have status accounts with emirates and rak, and they dont touch the perks that hsbc gives.
