Hi, I'm going to begin the process to obtain a British Citizenship and I was wondering if, during the waiting (after receiving your residence card), I were to spend some time in Gibraltar, would this time count as time in the United Kingdom or time out of those 450 days that you can stay outside of British territory?

Thanks for your help!

No. Gibraltar is UK overseas territory, and for the sake of naturalisation, UK means England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, plus Isle of Man and Channel Islands. The exception is if your spouse is posted to Gibraltar as a diplomat or member of Armed Forces and you accompany.
