Hello,

Very interesting. I also work in the oil and gas industry so I am intrigued what you would be doing in Amiens. We are based in Dubai and go back to Amiens every summer as it is my wife’s home town. Plenty of supermarkets, not very multicultural so you will need to speak French.

Regards Stephen
hello Stephen

Yes you are right, there is nothing to do with the oil and gas in Amiens, Actually i work for Schlumberger and they have one center in Abbeville (50km from Amiens). so i work in Abbeville and lives in Amines.

We been in France/Amiens from last three month and as you mentioned, French is must to do to live in france.
started my lesson so see how things will improve
