Hi. I'm looking for a qualified and experienced French national to provide French tutoring to an adult. 1) Can anyone recommend a tutor? 2) Has anyone had any experience with My Private Tutor a web based directory for tutors and students that charges USD30 for access to their listings? There appears to be quite a few tutors listed for my area but I'm sceptical about handing over credit card details. And 3) I have read that it is illegal for individuals outside of companies registered and approved by KHDA to provide personal tutoring? If this is true what is the current status? I also understand that there was going to be a review to address the whole issue of private tuition particularly given the high demand within the UAE. Thanks!

You might want to try Alliance Francaise, Dubai. They do classes as well as private tuition.
