French social security
Hello,
I have a question on the same subject. I am resident in France but not working. I don't have a social security number because I am covered by my partners private health insurance.
I have decided to to register as an 'artiste auteur' so that I can work legally as an artist in France. To complete the formalities I have been asked for my social security number!
The question is do I need one if I have private health insurance and no need to draw any benefits?
