Hello everyone!
I'm from Turkey, and I'm doing my postgraduate study in London at the moment, on Communication Design: Illustration. I'll graduate this September, and my visa will run off on January 2015.

I want to stay in London after graduation and work as an illustrator, however 90% of illustration jobs are freelance. Artworks for magazines, books, etc.

Nobody around me knows about this matter, and every time I research I come across different information.

I think it's impossible for me to live in the UK, unless I find a permanent job, and provide the paperwork from the company I'd work for. But I just read another article that mentioned Tier 1,5 and some other visas - I'm not quite sure if they work for a non Eu citizen.

Please let me know if you know anything about this! It'll be much appreciated

You can set up in business (i.e. self employment) using the European Community Association Agreement (ECAA) with Turkey.
