Hello everyone,
I'm plannin to travel with my pomeranian dog to the UK in the next month. I want to take a plane from Monterrey to Mexico city and then to the UK. I already have all the information I need about the vaccines and passport, I'm well informed about all the requirements but my problem is that according to Aeromexico and Iberia, they cannot take pets into the UK. I don't think that it depends on where you take the plan because even if I take an Iberian flight with a stop in Madrid and then the uk it's still not allowed the pet. According to PETS from the uk, just a few aerolines can get into the uk with pets and I can't find which ones are those :/

Can someone please help me?? I need to get my dog from Mexico into the uk :(

I called Aeromexico and they said that I can't take it ad it also said in the website (that now I can't find😅) but I found it also in Iberia's webstie

"Iberia is at this time still unauthorized to carry animals to the United Kingdom. Iberia cannot accept any animals whose destination is the United Kingdom."
And it's the same with Aeromexico :/

Here's what it says in the Aeromexico Website from Mexico. It's in spanish:

"Reino Unido:
Debido a las condiciones actuales del Gobierno de Inglaterra no se permite transportar mascotas aun registrada como carga; por el contrario, en vuelos de Londres a México sí son aceptadas como equipaje documentado y a través de carga."

It basically says that since the actual conditions in England, it is not allow to transport pets even registered as cargo, in the contrary, in flights London-Mexico pets are accepted as baggage or cargo

Approved airlines for flying pets into the UK are:

BA, Lufthansa, United, Air France/KLM. However, I think most of them require you go via a pet handler company due to all the restrictions and requirements.

Presume you are going to live in the UK since flying your pet for just a vacation is not recommended.
